Industrial Hemp Derived Cannabidiol (CBD) Product Defined

Industrial Hemp (Hemp) is cannabis sativa breed to produce high percentages of cannabidiol (CBD) and the other minor cannabinoids (CBG, CBN,CBV, et al) and low percentages (.3%) of the psychoactive tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) compound.  When the whole plant is used to create a product, is it referred to as Full Spectrum. Consuming full spectrum cannabis hemp generates an 'entourage effect' - whole plant compounds working together producing a therapeutic effect.

For our purposes here, a Hemp Derived CBD Product is one made plant means the cannabis sativa plant has been genetically altered to possess a high or dominant CBD compound.  If one selects a THC-free hemp material, they are not receiving the full spectrum benefits of the plant.  Also, it means the plant has been put through industrial and or chemical processes to eliminate the THC compound.
